The unit 8 International Organisations of English subject for second year Baccalaureate revolves around some international organisations and their efforts to resolve some international problems and to save the peace all over the world.
This unit will enable 2nd year bac students to: enlarge their knowledge of the jargon used in international affairs, review and learn ways of responding to news items, read, extract and organise information from texts, learn and practise ways of linking sentences, write a formal email, boost their memory skills, learn about different people’s attitudes towards the United Nations and finally learn how to design a poster.
